This is the overall decision making organ of Wema organization that consists of the founder members and community members. The GA holds its sittings once every year to pass overall resolutions on policy issues concerning the organization.
It consists of the founder members of the organization and other honorary members is responsible for outlining policy guidelines of the organization. The BOD meets to approve the organizations plan of action as proposed by the management team.
It comprises of professionals charged with the day to day implementation of activities of the organization under the leadership of the Director.
In addition the organization has its own policies and procedures such as: By-laws, personnel policies, financial management and sector based comprehensive operating manuals.
To improve the quality of life for women, girls and children in underprivileged communities by offering basic education, livelihood training, gender and human rights awareness while incorporating climate resilience and technology for sustainable social and economic empowerment.
