Wema works on the basis of people centered right and gender approach creating a unique and effective model for empowering and uplifting marginalized communities by the following key elements:
Wema focuses on ensuring access to quality education for all, especially in underserved communities. This includes providing educational resources, provide bursaries, improving school infrastructure and supporting teacher training programs. Wema also creates opportunities for lifelong learning and skill development.
Wema focus on empowering communities through active engagement and collective action. This involves raising awareness about critical issues, mobilizing resources and support for community initiatives and building resilience against socio-economic and environmental challenges.
Livelihood and vocational skills programs at Wema focus on equipping individuals with practical skills and knowledge needed for economic self-sufficiency and sustainable livelihoods. These programs offer hands-on learning in various trades and professions, helping participants to gain the expertise needed for stable employment or entrepreneurship.
A society where women and youth are free from social injustice, empowered to defend their rights and actively engaged in building resilient community initiatives that adapt to climate change through innovative technological approaches.
